Parents are 'கண்கண்ட தெய்வம்', god here and now. "தாயிர்ச் சிறந்ததொரு கோயிலுமில்லை", no temple excels one's mother and "தந்தைசொல் மிக்க மந்திரமில்லை", no prayer is above one's father's advice.
