the name of this blog: 'AMMAIAPPAN'.
It is a Tamil name
meaning Mother and Father.
God is often called Ammaiappan.
It is in line with
the 'arthanaareeshwara' concept.
That means God is half feminine!
Another reason for this name is
my parents: Lenammai and Arulappan.
Parents are our 'Kankanda Deivam'
that is, gods seen here and now.
"Thaayir chiranthathoru koyilum illai."
No temple better than one's mother.
"Thanthai sol mikka manthiram illai."
No prayer is above the words of one's father.
