EATING FRUIT... 

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how andwhen to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits? 


IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON ANEMPTY STOMACH.
 
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. 


FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
 Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining [WINDOWS-1252?]— every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc [WINDOWS-1252?]— actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only freshfruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. APPLE:
 An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke. 

STRAWBERRY:
 Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals. 

ORANGE :
 Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer. 

WATERMELON:
 Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene [WINDOWS-1252?]— the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium. 

GUAVA & PAPAYA:
 Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes. 

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer!
 Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!) Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. Sixty percent of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

Cami is approaching bridal chamber...!

It is now the turn of the 'eldest' of the twins, Camitha Rani to wait for the wedding bells to chime... The groom is indeed God-chosen, i think. After the overwhelming enthusiasm of both the sides, especially of the groom's, the man, Dany, has come down for just a day's leave only to see one another and make the 'go ahead' signal for all of us to carry on with the preparations already on its wings. It was a short and sweet meeting with only the parents and their siblings only. God willing, the event will take place on Wednesday, 28th December at Lourdes Forane Church, PMG, Thiruvananthapuram. Let us pray for God's blessings on the engaged.

Good sense is there still and prevail it will certainly...

Yes, at last good sense prevailed, though through the mediation of Rome!

Fr. Labrin was a lone fighter against the unjust, unholy activities of those who have to be its custodians! Unfortunately the church in the garb of 'mighty' epicopacy tried to silence him in vain, instead of encouraging him! When that could not succeed it took recourse to punitive measures ending up in his suspension!

And now, Rome seemed to have advised the authority in the diocese to try dialogue and conciliation after rescinding the suspension. That was how his suspension is known to have been lifted. May this be a lesson to all concerned not to put down genuine demands for justice, accountability, transparency and the like and never ever try to go the punitive way which never was Jesus' way.

Let Fr. Labrin and those like him be more generous to take everyone along and together try to overcome the powers of evil so as realize the Reign of God which is among us already. May good sense dawn and Love reign...

Steve Job, the Apple man...


“Stay Hungry, stay foolish”

In one of his most brilliant and memorable speeches ever, Steve Jobs had spoken at Stanford University in 2005 about his fight against pancreatic cancer, famously telling his audience to “stay hungry, stay foolish” since a person’s “limited” time on earth should not be wasted in “living someone else’s life.”

His words: “No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it… time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.” He urged the students not to let the noise of others’ opinions “drown out your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Raju, why this early?

Raju, friend, cousin or class mate...
You were more than all these...
We grew together, played together
studied together and traveled together
but for a short span when
we finished our schooling...

When you were overburdened
with as many as seven siblings,
two elder, a brother and a sister
and the rest younger and all girls,
i could chose rather a 'safer' life.

But you bore the burden so
happily to reach them all
to safer shores...

Leaving all of us
so early for good,
your children seemingly
have not reached anywhere,
but were equipped enough
to reach the shores by themselves.

You were almost silent always
other than when you 'drank!'
That made you a darling of all,
curiously enough even for your in-laws!

You were never a weakling,
but toiled always for the family
even at the hour of your death
you were awaiting your
colleagues to call you.
